As winter descends upon us, escape to the warm surrounds of the State Buildings for a seasonal celebration of vibrant events, live music and hearty fare.

Rug up in the Long Chim courtyard for an afternoon of hot buttered rums, toddys and hot punches with cocktail genius, James Connolly.
Learn the art in creating delicious hot-tails whilst hearing stories behind some old school hot drink favourites.
With a Hot Gin Punch to start the afternoon, you’ll try a selection of cocktails including a coconut Buttered Rum and a fiery Bangkok Blazer (with flames and stuff).
Hot-tails, Thai bar snacks (including Tom Yum soup) and merriment included.

Embark on a culinary journey in the heart of the city with a progressive dinner through the State Buildings.
The evening will begin with bubbles and canapés at Petition Wine Bar, before descending to the basement for entrees and a cocktail at Long Chim. From authentic Thai favourites, to a modern Australian twist, main course will be served in Post with matched wines, before venturing to Petition Kitchen for a delicious dessert by Jesse Blake. To finish the evening, you’ll make your way to a surprise location for a mystery nightcap.

Wilson Parking (Kings Complex) is located off Pier and Hay Street, directly east of Cathedral Square (open Mon-Sun 24 hours).
City of Perth Parking (CPP Council House) is located on St Georges Terrace, underneath Council House (open Mon-Sat 6.00am-1.00am, Sun 7.30am-1.00am).
The State Buildings are easily accessible by bus, train, taxi or Uber. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the City Busport,
the Wellington Street Bus Station, Elizabeth Quay Station and the Perth City Railway Station. In addition, free CAT buses
run frequently along St Georges Terrace and stop nearby.

Valet parking is available to patrons visiting the State Buildings and Cathedral Square Precinct. Parking is accessed via Cathedral Avenue, conveniently located in front of COMO The Treasury.
